Meet our wonderful, qualified staff:
I, Lucy Alternor Joseph, joined Kiddies Head Start in November 2013 as the Administrator.
I was a teacher for nineteen years before I was transferred to the
Ministry of Education in an Administrative position in 1994. I
attended the St. Lucia Teachers College and gained my qualification
from the University of the West Indies as a qualified teacher in 1982.
I have pursued several workshops and conferences both here and
overseas in many fields including Disaster Preparedness, Drug Abuse,
Adult Education, Literacy Initiatives management among others.
I am a graduate of the University Of Hull, England, where I attained
my Degree in Philosophy in Education. Mrs. Joseph was an Education
Officer from 2004 to 2012. I am a mother of two children
(a daughter and a son). My son passed away in July
this year. I was a member of the Lions Club of Castries for
twenty years and served in various capacities including the post
of President. I have a passion for working with children and loves to interact with people.
I am Whitel Alexander. I‘m from the picturesque town of Soufriere.
I hold a Certificate in “Excellence in Customer Service” and
“Office Administration.” Before working with Kiddies Head
Start I pursed the Hospitality Training Program
at Sandals La Toc where I was trained to be a Front Desk Agent.
I am presently the Administrative Assistant here at Kiddies Head
Start. Currently, I am pursuing my studies in the field of Marketing
Management with the Association of Business Executive (Abe).
In the near future I hope to become a Marketing Manager. Here is
one of my favourite quotes “Believe in yourself, and the rest will
fall into place. Have faith in your own abilities, work hard and
there is nothing you cannot accomplish” by Brad Henry.
My name is Debra Theophilus of Monier, Grande Riviere
a trained First Aid and CPR respondent. I am married with
two kids. I have been working with infants and toddlers
for the past eleven (11) years. I hold a certificate in Early
Childhood Education, Care and Development from
National Skills Development Cooperation (NSDC) and
another from the University of the West Indies.
I have also been working with children at my
church (Bethel Tabernacle) for over twenty (20) years now.
I have had the opportunity to work with special needs
children i.e. children with Autism and speech problems.
Working with children brings joy to me.
