Health and Safety

Parents are advised to prepare nutritious snacks or meals for their children.

It is always good to encourage children to eat healthy foods and drink plenty of water. No junk food is allowed (corn curls, sweets, chewing gum, etc.)

Each child has access to a nutritious snack/meal. Wherever possible children are encouraged to feed themselves and try everything that is served.

Each child should be immunized as prescribed by the Ministry of Education/Ministry of Health.

For the well being of all at the Centre sick children are not admitted to the Centre. If in the opinion of Management, a child is considered sick the child will be isolated and parents notified as soon as possible.

If a child is ill parents are encouraged to please keep the child at home until he/she recovers.

In the event of an accident occurring and a child is hurt and needing medical attention, the child will be taken to the nearest health centre/hospital and parents notified immediately. Every effort will be made for parents and staff member to meet at health centre/hospital.
